Pocket Ojibwe, A Phrasebook for Nearly All Occasions, was reprinted in 2017 after originally being published in 2007. The authors are Patricia Ningewance Nadeau and Trevor Greyeyes. The book is intended for children aged 8 to 15. It is not meant to teach a person how to speak on their own. There are no lessons or explanations of grammar instead there are ready-to-use phrases and words for immediate solutions. There are seven sections to this book. Introduction, pronunciation guide; spending time with a child, clan animals; family words; About you and your feelings; In a social world - school; At home; and Being out in the big world.
